David Conway is the author of Jewry in Music (Cambridge University Press 2012) and music director of the Slovak music festival “Levočské babie leto“. In a confusing career he has worked as a stockbroker, a local politician, a manufacturer and a development aid manager in countries of the former Soviet Union, occasionally combining some of these roles simultaneously. He is a graduate of King’s College, Cambridge, and is an Honorary Research Fellow at University College London.
